Anvil Hall is a well-known wedding venue in Scotland, situated near the legendary Gretna Green. With a stunning interior and 50ft aisle the venue can cater for up to two hundred guests.


Q Social Media were asked to get involved to increase the number of wedding enquiries whilst keeping the Google ad costs at a manageable monthly level. The client’s previous experience of Google Ads was quite negative after ad costs had spiralled. We were also tasked with creating targeted social media campaigns to promote Anvil Hall to new audiences.


In just a few weeks we brought the cost per click of the Google Ads down, increased the amount of relevant clicks to the website and more than doubled the click through rate with the replacement AdWords campaign. We also developed a successful new AdWords remarketing campaign to target people who had shown an interest in the website. The social media campaigns resulted in thousands of clicks to the website and the client saw a corresponding increase in enquiries over the period of our involvement.
