About Chris Wood - Online Marketing and Social Media Specialist
Chris Wood, director of Q Social Media Ltd, has over a decade of experience working in technology in the City of London. It was here that Chris was first introduced to LinkedIn, which he used at that time as a way of keeping in touch with colleagues. He was also introduced to instant messaging platforms that were used for internal communication purposes only, where he would have instant online chat conversations with colleagues that were not in the same location (think of Twitter but for internal use only). Following a move to Devon, Chris extended his use of social media and began using internet marketing as a way of promoting his own IT services business. He was then approached by other local business people that wanted to understand how to use social media to promote their businesses too. Now he provides hands-on, practical training courses and seminars on using social media and the internet to drive business growth in Devon, Dorset, Somerset and London. He also helps businesses develop and implement their own strategies.
